Any relevant publications and/or dissertation on the topic should be included. The deadline for submission is 1 February 2010.

The award of 1000 € is funded by Merial and will be presented by the ABCD at the congress of the European Society of Feline Medicine (ESFM) to be held in Amsterdam (Netherlands) from 18 to 20 June 2010.

The award winner will be informed and receive a complimentary registration to this congress. Return travel expenses and accommodation will also be covered to allow the laureate to attend the event. The award will be given at the winner’s presentation of his/her findings at this event.

Recipient of the ABCD & Merial Young Scientist Award 2009, presented at the ESFM congress on 20 June in Dubrovnik, was Dr Jonas Wensman (SLU, Sweden), for his work on borna disease in cats.
