Day 1 : Mini-invasive Surgery basis and dry lab training
Theory
- Course introduction : History and future of mini-invasive surgery
- Which material do you need to start laparoscopic surgery
- Strategic organisation : Room, Patient, Ports
- The capnoperitoneum and How to enter the abdomen
- Anesthesia for laparoscopic surgery
Practical training at Pelvi-trainer and perfused organs
- Training at dry lab and at perfused organs
- Achievement of 5 specific tasks
- Dissection of a gallbladder
Day 2 : Anesthesia, complications in Mini-invasive surgery and wet-lab training
Theory
- Laparoscopic Biopsies
- The laparoscopic spay
- The laparoscopic cryptorchiectomy
- Laparoscopic-assisted procedures
Practical training at anesthetized pigs
Debriefing, complications,…
Examination and Diploma
- Practical evaluation using the Mistels system
- MCQ
